Rapist shot after returning for a repeat performance

A woman is raped; five days later the rapist breaks into her house again for a repeat performance but this time the woman has borrowed a shotgun and shoots the rapist, who dies in hospital seven hours later. The prosecutor has ruled it a justifiable homicide.

We can sleep soundly in our beds knowing it couldn't happen here;  borrowing a gun is illegal since ex-Prime Minister Howard's "working together to make Australia safer" campaign.
